U.LUBE team service: On-site investigation on gear rope lubrication of bridge cranes and gantries in shipyards
A few days ago, U.LUBE team went to a shipyard to offer technical services for the lubrication of bridge cranes and gantry machines, including bridge cranes, gantry machines, open gears of travel wheels, open gears of winches, wire ropes, etc. The team also conducted a survey on the lubrication of bridge cranes, open gears of travel wheels, open gears of winches and wire ropes.
Shipyard bridge crane, door seat machine walking wheel open gear expose to sun and rain for a long time, therefore, the lubrication requirements of the gear is relatively high, the lubricants is required to have properties of anti-heavy duty extrusion, anti-rain shower, long-term resistance to dust pollution interference on gear pair meshing and so on. If the lubrication is not appropriate, it is easy to cause some problems, such as walking gear working surface oil film is not completely covered, the working surface due to dry grinding caused by pitting, gluing damage, and walking gear working surface is not covered by oil film, the working surface due to dry grinding caused by serious plastic deformation, individual gears have been planished. The pinion drive side was not covered by an oil film, and dry grinding of the teeth caused extensive scuffing/gluing and pitting damage.
The working surface of the big teeth is affected by the humid environment of the coast, there are rust stains, and near the pitch circle by the heavy load extrusion so that the oil film rupture caused a lot of pitting damage, the lubricant does not play a lubricating role in the protection of the lubricant.
