场桥大车不但要承受场桥的重量，而且易受海水的侵蚀，甚至会承受冲击载荷。大车润滑一般采用强制润滑，对润滑油的抗磨抗水冲能力性能要求比较高。

目前某集装箱码头对龙门吊行走驱动链条使用了某牌普通锂基脂进行润滑，效果不理想，出现些问题。

普通锂基脂其抗负载能力不够强，抗海水及海边盐环境能力比较差，工作温度，尤其是低温性能差一些，并且氧化安定性不够强，在海边的环境是很容易润滑失效。
The ordinary lithium grease is not strong enough to resist the load, the seawater and salt environment, the working temperature, especially the low temperature performance, and the oxidation stability is not strong enough, so it is easy to fail to lubricate in the seaside environment.
目前该码头使用的锂基脂渗透性能不足，无法渗透到链条销轴;而且油膜强度不足，抗磨性能较差。容易造成销轴端部磨损，进而断裂。另外锂基脂对码头存在的潮湿/腐蚀性环境防护性较差，容易造成链条锈蚀。下图为该码头行走链条，链条形成大量油泥，齿轮与链板内侧有磨损现象。
