High-temperature chain lubrication improvement in auto parts painting workshop to reduce wear and abnormal vibration
The high temperature painting chain in an auto parts painting workshop had problems such as wear and abnormal vibration. After U.LUBE service team received the customer's inquiry, the technical service team immediately went to the painting workshop for on-site investigation.
After the research, we found that the auto parts need to be baked at 220℃ for 40 minutes in the high temperature baking room, and the chain length in the baking room is 400 meters, and the main parts that need lubrication include the main bearing of the chain rotor, the running bearing and the chain itself. At present, the customer is using a certain brand of lubricant to lubricate the main rotating shaft and running bearing, but the chain itself is not effectively lubricated and the lubrication effect is not good. It leads to the chain surface dryness, stagnation, serious wear, and in some cases even the overall "shaking" situation, affecting the normal production of enterprises, and the cost of lubricants is also higher.
High-temperature coating chain bearing lubrication parts
In view of the above, and combined with the characteristics of the high temperature chain in the painting workshop, the U.LUBE team believes that the appropriate lubricant should have the following characteristics.
1. high temperature resistance (long-term working temperature at 200°C, short-term 220°C)
2. high dropping point, not easy to flow and drip to avoid contamination of workpiece surface.
3. excellent adhesion performance.
4. not easy to produce sludge and carbon accumulation.
5. low volatility, lasting and effective.
In the chain main bearing lubrication, U.LUBE team recommends U.LUBE fully synthetic high temperature grease, which has excellent lubrication performance, good high temperature resistance and low coking property, providing very clean lubrication for the chain under high temperature. After a period of testing and use, the product works well. When the refill interval is 2 weeks, we found that there is no obvious change in the color property, the wear of the chain is relieved and the problem of frequent shaking is reduced, compared with the previous lubricant, the lubrication effect is good and the above problems are improved, and the cost performance is better.
After using the fully synthetic high temperature grease for two weeks, there is no change in shape and appearance, and the lubrication effect is good.
